The first ‘normal’ walks

It was dull all day today – no scary bursts of sun – and Isis triumphed. She walked round the park without any serious refusals, first with J and Ben, then, in the evening, with D and G, Billy and Connor.

I even forgot that she might stop and I walked on, chatting happily.

She enjoyed the Dog Mob’s pit stops for treats.

She was so calm and relaxed when we returned home that we were able to have the light on all evening and she didn’t twirl and snap at her ‘thought-flies’.

The twirling is distressing to watch because you feel she must be dizzy and exhausted; on the other hand, do you get dizzy if you can’t see?

Conversation and the light on. What luxury.
