Monday
Isis is waiting for me to emerge from the shower. She doesn’t do waiting. She is bored. Very bored.
Thanks a million Isis.
Yes, don’t tell me: I know it’s my own fault. I left clothes on the bedroom chair ready to put on.
I examine my jumper mournfully. It was a very warm, fine wool polo neck. My best. A bargain from TK Maxx three years ago.
I present it to the hairy menace and ask her why she did it. She wags her beautiful tail but is otherwise unmoved.
Sigh.
By the way, if you fancy a dear little dog like Isis to eat your winter jumpers see below.
Isis came from the Aeza cat and dog rescue and adoption centre in Aljezur, Portugal. For information about adopting an animal from the centre, contact kerry@aeza.org or www.dogwatchuk.com
Sorry Pat, I didn’t realise I was sending you a terrorist!

Oh boy, can I ever sympathize! I tend to carry dog treats in my robe pockets; twice I’ve gone to put on a robe only to discover the dogs had chewed holes where the pockets were, even though they were empty at the time (must have been some crumbs in there). But that’s nothing compared to the day I came home to find that my oldest , Josey, had chewed up a huge portion of my 8×10 living room rug. So I turned it so that the ruined portion was under a sofa – and the next month she chewed up the other side! I could go on and on… I had to have my darling 13 1/2 year old Josey put to sleep last Thursday morning; she was a mess, but her three canine sisters and I miss her dreadfully 😦

I am so sorry to hear about your losing poor Josey.
(Her teeth must have been healthy to chew up that much rug.)
