New regular posting days: Sunday and Wednesday and, sometimes, extra ‘news flashes’!
Friday
Here is Isis playing with her short-lived squeaky vinyl newspaper.
She reports:
This is human’s first, unaided, viewable video. She does try, poor thing, but she’s missed most of the action. It was supposed to appear yesterday, to celebrate my one year adoption anniversary. But she accidentally disconnected the router while finishing sanding the staircase and didn’t notice. If you’d heard the language you’d have rehomed me immediately. Then she gave up and sulked until bed time.
Even today she spends at least thirty minutes trying to get the video onto the post before the dim-wit twigs that although only the code appears on her draft, the video is already, in fact, on the blog site. Ah me, what a dog has to put up with.
And that’s not the end of it. She decides I look very grubby. And of course I’ll not let her brush the mud from my tail. So she picks me up, carries me out to the garden and dumps me on the garden table. This is where I had that horrible bath. She knows it intimidates me and I’ll be subdued. Evil creature.
I spin and growl ferociously and grab my tail but she holds my collar and carries on. For the first time she takes the liberty of brushing all the bits I refuse to let her brush in the house. So humiliating. She even finds mud under my tail. I shudder to recollect …..
She’s decided to reduce her posting days. I expect it’s because the house is in such a disgusting state. There’s even mud on my cover on her bed. So my living conditions should improve.
I trust she’s not reduced the posts because she thinks I’m so well behaved now there’ll be nothing to write about. If so, she’s in for a surprise.
Isis came from the Aeza cat and dog rescue and adoption centre in Aljezur, Portugal. For information about adopting an animal from the centre, contact kerry@aeza.org or www.dogwatchuk.co.uk
That was adorable! I am so happy you were able to post a video 🙂 So lovely to see a dog actually PLAYING with a toy, haha…

Thanks Amber glad you enjoyed it. It was good of her to answer my question with a loud squeak, I thought. I hope you showed it to Emma!
