Posting days: Sunday and Wednesday and, sometimes, maybe, extra ‘news flashes’!

So, the grass continues to grow.
This image was taken on April 24th. From day to day, of course, nothing seems to be happening, but seeing this image again, I have the impression that the grass has grown quite a lot in the last three days. I’ll have to look again tomorrow.
It can’t grow too soon for Isis. She can’t wait to get out into her open park spaces to run. And unless we are out for at least ninety minutes in the morning and at least forty of these are for free running, she is ready for her second walk well before I am!
She lets me know by leaping around on the futon, diving at the edges, pretending to bite the mattress, and landing with scratchy claws on my legs. When she tires of this, she grabs big polar bear round his neck and shakes him vigorously before dropping him over the edge.
Grow, grass, grow.
Isis came from the Aeza cat and dog rescue and adoption centre in Aljezur, Portugal. For information about adopting an animal from the centre, contact kerry@aeza.org or www.dogwatchuk.co.uk
