apologies and explanations

A post should appear each Sunday!

Saturday July 9th 2022

I apologise again for last week’s no-post. To add insult to injury, there will be no post tomorrow either.

Unheard of.

Human has been struck down by a very nasty throat infection.

Unfortunately, this has caused a flare-up of her rheumatoid arthritis, which is nonchalently attacking everything: eyes, glands, ear, joints, and is causing extreme fatigue and ‘brain fog.’

Most days, I have managed to take Isis for a walk, but that finishes me off for the next twenty-four hours.

I’m hoping that things will be more normal by next week.

Special ‘sorry’ to G.F. and to E.C. who have become followers only this week.

Yes, I can smell the path up there.

Isis came from Aeza cat and dog rescue in Aljezur, Portugal. For information about adopting an animal from the centre, contact kerry@azea.org or go to http://www.dogwatch.co.uk.

  2. I’m so sorry to hear of your health issues. I’m amazed that you are still able to do the Isis walks with all that going on. Hope you feel much better soon!

  3. Thank you Val. I’m lucky in that I’m not often I’ll but this has struck with a vengeance. Didn’t take little Isis out yesterday as she can’t tolerate the brightness, and must admit I was much less drained. Think I’ll leave her walks for a few days & see if that helps.
