Kings Heath Park Saturday

Saturday

It’s Saturday morning and the park is buzzing with activity: there’s a tai chi class in progress on the old bowling green, children in training sessions running up and down the steep slopes on two sides of the green; teenagers shooting baskets on the basketball/football area, elderly walkers smiling in the sun, middle aged joggers puffing along the paths, parents with small children making for the playgrounds.

Isis too has a plan. To the woods –

to snuffle amongst the sycamore leaves and sniff out what’s hiding there.

She knows there’s something here. She can smell it.

Damn! It’s escaped.

If you would like to own the second most amazing dog there is, see below.

Isis came from the Aeza cat and dog rescue and adoption centre in Aljezur, Portugal. For information about adopting an animal from the centre, contact kerry@aeza.org or  www.dogwatchuk.com
